Roscommon Hospital 14/6/2011

I heard yesterday that it is very likely that Roscommon Hospital will have the services reduced. The accident and emergency facility will be open from 8am to 8pm and totally closed on weekends. I remember the meetings before the election, the Abbey hotel full of angry people, Fianna Fail politicians cowering and sending forth the lamb to the slaughter. Fine Gael and all the promises they made. Enda Kenny standing on a box outside Gleesons town house spouting promises about his 5 point plan and how things will be so much better with a new government.

So as I take it, there should be a HSE leaflet handed around to the people of Roscommon and what should it say??

People of Roscommon, could you please refrain from having a heart attack or stroke, car crash, slip or fall, burst appendix, hit by a bus, struck by lightning or any other health emergency before 8am or after 8pm during the week and any time during the weekend.
